It's all about timing!

The world we live in can revolve around a lot of things, family, friends, work, school, etc. What do all these things have in common? The element of time! Everything we do has some type of schedule or timing element to it that helps us keep track of our day. Wedding planning has many elements to it, and if you're not careful something can easily get lost in the shuffle. For example, the dress. In my opinion the best time to look for a dress is a year out. I went shopping for my wedding dress exactly a year out and I'm lucky I did! The dress that ended up being "the one" was going to take 17 weeks to get since it was a special order! If I would have waited to lose weight, or because I just wasn't ready, I might not have been able to get the dress I loved.

Timing is one of the key things that an event/wedding planner has to master. If someone runs long on a speech or the ceremony is shorter than expected, its the planner that must step in and ensure things are still running smooth. Whether that means cutting something out or adding a small element to ensure the bride and groom enjoy their wedding, a planner should always have a plan B.

Planning your wedding can be very fun adventure for you and your significant other can enjoy, along with your family. However something that you have to always keep in mind is the time on everything. From ordering the dress to deciding on when to eat, always triple check your times, and if you can have a professional look over it as well... DO IT!
