How do you start your transition into marriage? Well it depends on the circumstances you're currently in.
For people who are living together it's easier to transition into marriage because you are familiar with each other already. Not to say that you are better than anyone else but living together does help you know each other's quirks.
When people get married and have not live together you spend the first few months figuring out who the other person is and learning all their different quirks.
To make things easier make sure to have some discussions about life at home and how to handle certain situations. For example how will you combind finances? Who's house will you live in? How many kids do you want? Will you have a family pet? These are just some of the conversations you should have before the I Do day!
Being on the same page is important, so many people jump into marriage without having these conversations. Don't be scared do have these conversations either! If you find you and your partner are incompatible then at least you would know before you start jumping into marriage and maybe figure out a compromise.
Marriage is work but if you're willing to work at it, you could have a partner for life!
